Here is the promised Brightly Gleaming CASE Card. Yesterday I introduced the CASE Challenge for October. Today I am going to share with you a project I created a few weeks back. Hopefully when I am done sharing today, all of you will be telling me “CASE Challenge Accepted”!
It was probably early in August… it was for a demo swap with my team in Oregon. But when I got a good look at the designer series paper for the Brightly Gleaming suite, I knew I wanted to do some heat embossing with copper emboss. And better yet, to emboss on foil paper.
I had recently scene a card similar in design, and so I decided to CASE that layout for this one. Here is the basic CASE Sketch.
Once I had the idea of the sketch in my head, and I knew the technique I wanted to try, all I had to do was start laying out coordinating colors and decide which DSP sample sheet I would use. To keep things simple, I decided to just use the one image from the stamp set, but repeat it in a couple of layers.
Watch the tutorial below to see me pull it all together for you. Then you can try it out for yourself.
