By the Tide – Happy Father’s Day
Today I have another archive project card to share with you, this one features the retired set By the Tide. It follows the idea of this weeks Mystery CASE Challenge card, so if you are inspired to create after you read today’s post, please join us in this weeks challenge. Find all the details for this weeks Mystery CASE Challenge on the July CASE Page.
Similar to yesterday’s archive project, this card also features the Triple Stamping Technique. If you missed the post yesterday to learn about that you can see it here.
By the Tide – Happy Father’s Day Project Review
As you can see from the photo, I used three images from the By the Tide set to create the focal image for the front of the card. Here are the colors I used for this project… and all three are still in the current Stampin’ Up! Color Families.
- Coral image – Crumb Cake
- Fish image – Night of Navy
- Shell image – Old Olive
Then the panel was cut into three pieces and positioned on a Night of Navy mounting panel, before being layered onto the Old Olive card base. I then repeated that stamping on the corner of the envelope. Remember… no naked envelopes!
Yesterday I shared some current catalog stamp sets that could be used to create splendid cards for this type of technique. All you have to do is pick images and colors, then stamp!
