Forever Fern – you can do this
Today I have this simple and elegant card to share with you that I received in Demo Swap after the new annual catalog was released. This card was stamped and swapped by Natalie Gramley. If you have been following this weeks Mystery CASE challenge, you can see that her swap inspired this weeks clues.
I have to admit, the Forever Fern Bundle is definitely one of my favorite in the catalog, and the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper keeps drawing me back to it! I just love all those shades of GREEN together.
Okay, let’s take a look at Natalie’s swap card.
Forever Fern – you can do this – Project Details
Color Combinations: So she has paired the colors from the patterned paper into her selections of ink and cardstock to build her card. She has Pear Pizzazz as the card base, with a Soft Sea Foam panel on the top, that was embossed with the new OLD WORLD embossing folder.
Die Cut Embellishments: Since the die cut leaves are not too bold, I am going to guess she stamped off her ink at least once, maybe twice before stamping her image. They have color, but it is faint and very mellow. It blends well with the cardstock colors.
Sentiment Tag Creation: Here she has used to die cut labels from the Stitched So Sweetly set. The bottom layer is Vellum cardstock, and the top one is Pear Pizzazz, to match her card base. The tag also have some leaf and dot images added to fill the space completely around the words.
