Catalog Highlight – a skinny tutorial of samples found in the catalog. This is a new way for me to share projects with you. You can read all about this project on the Catalog Highlight Page.
Today I am actually going to CASE this card for you in the Stampin’ Show & Tell Video Tutorial, and my version is available to you as a PDF Tutorial as well. But to start lets look at the Catalog Card, and I will share some Tips & Techniques that Stampin’ Up! artists used to create this card.
Tips & Technique:
Blender Pens were used with Calypso Coral Ink to color the larger flower.
Aqua Painters were used with the Old Olive and Crushed Curry to paint color onto the leaves and smaller flowers.
Pretty Peacock Ink was used for the sentiment tag, I used Memento Black on my card project below.
Accessories: Bird Ballad Trinkets, Braided Linen Trim
Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to adhere the trinkets
Fine-Tip Glue Pen was used to adhere the focal embellishment to the laser cut card front.

Now for today’s project, by me. Inspired by the catalog sample. I don’t do it exactly the way the original was done. Remember, “It’s Your Card, Make It Your Way!” So I created this project with the materials I had on hand, and the coloring tools that I enjoy. I also assembled my differently, I really didn’t want to use liquid glue or the fine tip glue. So check out the video to learn what I did instead.
