CTS345 Challenge with Merry Moose
This sketch can be fairly simple to follow. First I had to decide on the sentiment I wanted to use. Then from there I choose the colors and decided to use the Moose as the focal point.
Crafting the Merry Moose Card
So starting with the Cherry Cobbler ink, I stamped the sentiment once. Then I cleaned the stamp and repeated the sentiment above and below in Shaded Spruce.
Along the side I stamped three of the larger tree images in Shaded Spruce, inking them each time and then overlapping my stamped images. This creates depth in the image.
Now to stamp the moose, I stamped in Crumb Cake ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock. I usually don’t mix Whisper White and Very Vanilla on the same card, but I didn’t want the moose on white. Stamp both the outline image and the full image, then punch it image out. I stamped the scarf in the Cherry Cobbler and trimmed it out with my paper snips. Then used dimensionals to add the moose to the card front panel, and a mini glue dot to secure the scarf.
Layering Panels for Detail
Then I was going to put it as a Whisper White panel on a Whisper White card base. But decided it would pop a bit more if I layered it on a panel of Shaded Spruce. So that is what I did. The stamped panel is adhered to the Shaded Spruce with snail, and then I popped the Shaded Spruce panel on dimensionals.
For the inside greeting, I thought I would add the small tree image along with two sentiments.
