Spring Theme – Joy of Sets Blog Hop
Today for the Joy of Sets blog hop, all the participating stampers are sharing Spring Theme craft projects. I am using the Easter Promise stamp set offered by Stampin’ Up! in the Spring Catalog. I have a quick project video to share with all the steps. But it is a fairly simple project.
Easter Promise Project
I decided to do a mono-chromatic card base, and add a pop of color for the focal point. So as you can see, the spring time flowers on the main die cut circle have been colored. I used the Blend markers, and I love how when they dry they seen to glow a bit.
How did I get that ribbon to color match my card? Another simple trick… just use the Blend markers to die any white or light colored neutral ribbon. Here I had Whisper White ribbon and used my DARK Daffodil Delight Blend to die it for the project.
Well, I hope you enjoyed my project share for the blog hop today. I would love if you left me a comment below. Did it inspire you to do some coloring? Maybe it’s time to make a springtime project for yourself, and then send it along to a friend.
