Card 5 of the Card Class of the Month
Thanks enjoy today with Magnolia Lane. Today I am sharing this project with lots of layers. It is also the last card of the five card series in the Card Class of the Month. The layout of the three designer series paper layers came from a sample on p.36 in the catalog. After that, we make the flower element on Vellum.
Thanks Enjoy Today is a fun sentiment. I am thinking maybe for a card that has a gift enclosed. A thank you gift with maybe some tickets to a fun event.
The Vellum flower is created by stamping on the Vellum cardstock, and then etching the backside with a stylist tool. This technique of etching, is similar to dry embossing. We are going to puff out the flower petals with our stylist.
Watch as I demonstrate the card and catch how I do the Vellum Flower.

Tips & Technique:
It looks as though this may have been designed on a note size card. So folded card would be 3 1/2 x 5 inches. But you scale it up and down to suit our crafting needs.
